#DrawingAugust - at the end of week one

You may have noticed the term "#DrawingAugust" appearing in my recent posts.

For those of you who have been resisting Twitter, it is what is known as a "hashtag", a kind of searchable label. More specifically, it is a drawing challenge - a drawing or painting a day throughout August.

It's getting rather popular.

I've been participating all month so far, but only four of the pictures merited their own posts. Here are the others:

There might be a bit of repurposing of office supplies in there... oh, and a visit to the pub for my fairly ordinary coloured pencils.
